    unique and outstanding

I live in the mission and go out of my way to go to Namu every few months. They change the menu up with some regularity but are smart enough to keep their most popular staples on there most of the time. When I go with my wife and friends we usually order every appetizer and split two or three entrees. The previous poster critiques Namu for not matching Daving Chang. That's a pretty tall order. You can actually get a table at Namu, it won't break the bank, and the food is original and very tasty. That's good enough for me.

    Overrated.

This place got a lot of hype. I went in with high expectations and was very disappointed. Besides the DJ and music, the food was pretty mediocre and their version of fusion Korean was a nice try, but weak outcome. Can't hold a candle to innovative fusion Korean (David Chang) and is definitely not as tasty as real Korean food. I realize SF doesn't have great Korean food options, but save your money and go to Japantown.

    The food is sooooo good!!!

We're from New York and it was my birthday tonight. We decided to stay in the neighborhood that we are staying in, figuring that there has to be good food in the richmond area. Through internet searching we found this place and thought, it reminds of a cool place in NY that we know about...similar to Momo Fuko Ssam Bar. We were blown away!!! We went there on a monday night (half price wine btw) and it was really amazing!!! We highly recommend it!!!!

    New and exciting flavors!

Beyond all else, the food here will dazzle. Design is great and the staff is ultra-friendly.

    Hidden Jem!

Great new spot in the inner richmond, really delicious pork ribs and hamburgers. Perfect for lunch or dinner!
