Nan King Road NOT House of Nanking
tons of fresh veggies in most of their dishes. Great selection. Love the mongolian beef, eggplant basil chicken, and if you can afford the calories - get the spicy sesame chicken ( but this will not survive delivery. PLEASE do not confuse this with House of nanking Kearney which believe another reviewer has done (ref the Food Network). this is not the same place.

Still the Best Chinese of the City
I been living in different neighborhoods of the city all my life and I love Chinese food and eat at least three times a week. And this restaurant serves the best of the best Chinese food. Try the veggie spring rolls and potstickers. Also eggplant chicken and sesame chicken, heck try everything!

Not as good as it used to be
Nan King got a plug on the Food Network, and ever since then, the quality of food has gone downhill. We have given this restaurant two chances, one for take out, the other eat in. If you eat in, the service is poor, they serve you what they want, not what you order, the tables are jammed together, there's always a long wait, and to top it off, the food is overpriced. We will not give Nan King another chance.

Upscale Chinese at a great price
Their Crispy Sesame Chicken should be on the list of 'things to eat before you die.' Awesome Wor Won Ton soup, too. Fresh veggies, good cuts of all the meats. For a buck or two more, you get huge portions of great, healthy food that is miles above the competition.
