Our family of 5 had an amazing dinner.Everything we ordered was great - We are a family of 5 and enjoy the whole experience. The waiter was kind and made sure our bread basket was always full. Each person ordered something different and one order of raviolis that was shared. We even took pictures of our dinner to send to our friends who suggested this restaurant. Our dinner was well worth the price - a little more than we normally spend but well worth it!

This place is way, way too expensive for having such extraordinarily AVERAGE Italian food. Believe me, there's nothing to write home about here. There is only one good thing on the menu and that's about it. It's the "Pasta de la Casa", which is very expensive. My wife had a chicken breast with some sauce and it was $30.00. That's almost insulting. Never again!

I had an unpleasant experience here. The service was attentive, so long as they were up-selling us or pushing expensive wine and specials that turned out to be very expensive though they did not tell us. The food was fine, but not even remotely close to good enough to justify the price. At over $150/person the food should have been spectacular, but was only adequate. There are much, much better Italian restaurants in SF where you can eat outstanding food, drink excellent wine, and spend much less.

Visited North Beach Restaurant on April 10th and the service was very bad, prices high and very little food served. Soups salads extra and the waiter was not happy we did not order wine or cocktails with dinner and we believe he gave us poor service after that. Will not go back. However my meal was very good but had to have a bite to eat when I got home
