A bit disappointing....
I miss good Hawaiian BBQ...was really looking forward to trying this place after hearing all the great reviews. The small but very busy restaurant gave great value--lots of food, freshly prepared, for the prices they charge. However, when I think of BBQ, I think of garlicky, smoke flavored, succulent pieces of meat with grill marks, the way we grill them back home on Ala Moana beach. The meats here were NOT grilled and infused with an overly sweet sauce. Miss Tita's....great Hawaiian music, awesome haupia... The macoroni salad was very mayonnaisy...

From a picky eater...
The short ribs are succulent and juicy. The mac salad is a perfect complement to the meat. Normally I can't stand anything with mayo, but I loved this one.
