Great Ahi ... and everything else too

My wife and I stay at the Cow Hollow Motor Inn (about a block away from the Pacific Catch) whenever we visit San Francisco. We've been hooked on PC from the first time we tried their food. As other reviewers have stated, it's a tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant with little atmosphere even when there are actually tables available (which seems to be infrequently) ... but the food is GREAT so we've done takeout many times over several years. The seared Ahi (salad or sandwich) is simply perfect - I haven't had better even in Hawaii. Everything we've had has been very high quality and perfectly cooked. My wife would walk 10 miles for their sweet potato fries :). And the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Two thumbs up from both of us.

    Great Tuna

I'm addicted to the spicy ahi sandwich and sweet potatoe fries. The menu and food is something you'd expect at a $20/plate restaurant. Literally everything is GREAT!! I wind up doing take out about 1/2 the time because the place is small and gets crowded.

    I dream of poke. . .

Honestly, I could eat here every single night. The fish is so fresh and flavorful. I can't make myself branch out that much because the poke wasabi bowl is just that good, but I have spied on other diners' dishes, and they look equally awesome. One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood, although I admit I prefer getting take out as the place is pretty small.

Greatest ahi tuna poke this side of Oahu

This is the real deal all you hawaiian-style food fanatics.

    Fresh and Fast

Lots of fresh fish and vegetarian choices. Great for takeout, place is kind of small to dine in, most tables only for 2. They do serve wine and beer though.
