Best Indian Food
This is the place to go for the BEST Indian dishes. Everything is good on the menu and the specials are awesome too. You get large portions and you never leave hungry. Amazing Biriani and Marsala dishes.

Curry all day every day
Chicken tikka masala was full of spicey goodness. Prime location and open till eleven..CASH ONLY!

whoever said they had been here since it was "a hole in the wall" is lying...
I've lived in S.F. for 10 years and this place has always been a classic. Whoever said that they have been going here since a "hole in the wall" is what I like to call "lying." Pakwan is basic: cheap Indian food, no table service, and BYOB....Its one of the few good deals in the neighborhood an serves lots of people....It's not fine dining but a good place to meet with friends....

The best in SF
I love Pakwan. Their food is awesome. I have been eating here for at least 5 years. It is a great place to meet friends and share all the tastes of Pakistan and Northern India. So you have to be self-sufficient with the utensils and plates, but the price is much more reasonable than most. Being a vegetarian, I am always satisfied with the variety and portion sizes. My trick is to call in my order to pick-up, then you avoid the parking hassles. I usually order five or six dishes so I can have leftovers for the whole week! But if you do eat there, you can bring in your own beer, wine or champagne. Go and enjoy!

Great Indian Food in the Mission
I started going here couple years ago when it was just a hole in the wall. Food was really good the best indian food you can go but since the change price are out of control what was $20 could feed couple people now is $40. There food is great but price jump is littel to much.

People are friendly and food is awesome. You cant want anything more.
