    Solid neighborhood restaurant

This is Chow's (in Castro) sister restaurant but having never been to Chow's, am rating Park Chow on its own merit. This place is warm and inviting and their menu has a lot of variety - although it's focus is American with a California flare. Their best dishes are their hamburger and their pork chops - but the menu is vegetarian-friendly as well. And their pecan pie rocks rocks rocks! Beer selection is good. They also do brunch on the weekends - french toast and pancakes are dee-lish. I've taken a boyfriend, friends, family, and friends with kids here. They all loved it - all felt comfortable and had a good time. A really solid place if you're looking to have a nice meal without a lot of to-do and also not wanting to spend a lot of money. Sometimes there is a wait - but you can call an hour in advance and get your name on a waiting list.

    A Neighbor's Review

Park Chow is a great first date restaurant. With it's affordable pricing, it caters to the students of nearby UCSF. The atmosphere and ambience of Park Chow is warm and cozy. On warmer days, enjoy a candlelit dinner on the deck upstairs. I think this restaurant has the best atmosphere of any restaurant in the inner sunset. Not to mention, the food is great as well! (I encourage you to check out the menu, it is so diverse...you can't help but fiind something that sounds good)!
