    Not recommended

Yelp panned this place; I tried it anyway. Overcooked crust and bland sauce with overly mild cheese. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. The service was spotty, with the pizza maker waiting tables. When waitress came back she totaled up the bill which seemed very high. She said she didn't charge for heavy sauce, but when pressed admitted she did. Try Ken and Amy's down the street for an honest pizza.

    This is very good pizza

I've lived in the Sunset area of San Francisco for 15 years. This is the best pizza, in my opinion. Don't let the looks of the place fool ya. Just order delivery. That's what I do. Just try it. My two cents.

    Was once great

I did not have as bad of an experience as soggy pizza, but I too have noticed a decline in pizza quality over couple of years and I have stopped going. It is hard to see a once great pizza parlor become average.

    Soggy, soggy pizza.

Pirro's has just lost a customer that has been going to them for 20+ years. My family and I have been ordering from Pirro's for that long and while we noticed a decline in quality over the last couple of years, we just went to them because that's where we have always gotten pizza. Well after getting our pizza today (a pick-up) we noticed the pizza crust on the bottom was soaked through with oil and it would even fall apart because it was so soggy from the oil. This is when they just took out the pizza and gave it to us, so it wasn't because it's been out for awhile. We took it back and all they did was rudely brush us off saying there was nothing wrong with it even though the pizza was falling apart. They said that there was nothing they could do.
