    Yelp panned this place; I tried it anyway. Overcooked crust and bland sauce with overly mild cheese. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. The service was spotty, with the pizza maker waiting tables. When waitress came back she totaled up the bill which seem

    This is very good pizza

    I've lived in the Sunset area of San Francisco for 15 years. This is the best pizza, in my opinion. Don't let the looks of the place fool ya. Just order delivery. That's what I do. Just try it. My two cents.

    Was once great

    I did not have as bad of an experience as soggy pizza, but I too have noticed a decline in pizza quality over couple of years and I have stopped going. It is hard to see a once great pizza parlor become average.

    Old school

    Pirro's is definitely a dive/hole-in-the-wall type place, but it has an old-school neighborhood atmosphere and very tasty food for a good price. The staff is friendly, and remember repeat customers. A nice place for transplanted East Coasters.
