    Not So Bad

Keep a few things in mind when you eat here. There is a line for a reason. Not every dish on every menu is excellent. This place is great for Sunday brunch or a huge salad. The cheese burger I got ended up being better after I took it home and doctored it up with bacon, cheddar, and more mushrooms sauteed in the bacon grease. Don't judge me. As far as the service is concerned it isn't awful. Being a server myself and witnessing these girls work I have mucho respect. They are always busy and always on their feet. The kitchen messed up a few of our dishes. (even though they should have seen it right away since it was on the ticket). The noise level can be a little much given the high ceiling in the joint. Over all this place is a place to check out. I remembered melting over an order of chorizo one morning. Delicious!

    just average

I can't explain why people wait when there are better places within a block or 2

    A burger place?

This place is supposed to be a burger place, but their burger is truely mediocre. It tastes as though it is made from one of those frozen patties you get at a school BBQ. I'm not quite sure why they can't make a better one if that is supposed to be there specialty. Other items on the menu have been better. The fries are good, the fish and chips are good and the steak sandwich is good (could use better bread though). They do excellent business in spite of this so I am not sure they have any reason to change...

This place always has lines on weekends, and is consistently busy throughout the week. Thing is, their food is not all that good. It's overpriced for diner food, and not special or unique enough to be worth the price. Their burgers are supposed to be good, but the rest of the menu is very average.
