A burger place?
This place is supposed to be a burger place, but their burger is truely mediocre. It tastes as though it is made from one of those frozen patties you get at a school BBQ. I'm not quite sure why they can't make a better one if that is supposed to be there specialty. Other items on the menu have been better. The fries are good, the fish and chips are good and the steak sandwich is good (could use better bread though). They do excellent business in spite of this so I am not sure they have any reason to change...

The brunch at Polkers is the best that I ever had, eseacially the Eggs Blackstone... I am ruined for life and have not found anything better in San Francisco!

Overrated
This place always has lines on weekends, and is consistently busy throughout the week. Thing is, their food is not all that good. It's overpriced for diner food, and not special or unique enough to be worth the price. Their burgers are supposed to be good, but the rest of the menu is very average.
