Best restaurant in San Fran
Great gourmet food and a hip atmosphere. Best food I have eaten in San Francisco.

good food, great setting
i have been to this restaurant just twice, but enjoyed it both times. it's a diner-type feel in some respects, with the pork shoulder being outstanding and a good comfort food. i visited both times in winter season, so the heavier foods worked great. delicious veggie sides too. a few criticisms would include too pricey for what is offered and fairly noisy plus tables are too close together, at least where i was seated. staff is excellent - very attentive, friendly, and on top of their game. no complaints with that and overall a good experience. it's worth a try since you may find it very much to your liking.

Decent but a little pricey
We tried the PSC for the first time tonight. The atmosphere has a bit of a cafeteria feel so we weren't too impressed with it. Tables are somewhat close together and it became very noisy by about 8p. The wait staff were cordial and efficient. The food was decent but not fabulous and the prices are a bit steep. We were happy, however, to get a parking spot right outside with little effort. Would we recommend it? Let's just say we probably won't return but from the looks of the crowd, they do a good business. Maybe we're just picky but we're very good cooks and if we can't get better food than what we cook at home why bother?
