I have lived in the Inner Richmond for 3 years now and Q is one of those restaurants you know you can go to for a great meal every time. I will admit, I think we over dosed on Q when we first discovered it. Their salads are always very fresh and you have to love a place that can take you back to the days of Tater Tots. My only gripe is they don't serve ice with their water but, that is a minor detail. Love the Mac and Cheese and great burgers.

My wife and several friends live in the inner Richmond and have been going to Q on and off for almost 9 years now. Collectively, we have seen it slowly evolve into a local community institution where you see 20 somethings on first dates, large groups celebrating birthdays and 30 somethings (my wife and I) having low-key anniversary dinners. Q has something for everyone, truly, from several creative vegan alternatives to classic meat and potatoes, micro-beers on tap and almost 200 wines, most for less than $50.00. My wifes favorite is the wild salmon salad $12.50 with beets and marinated cucumbers, I usually order one of the fresh fish or steak specials ($14-16.). Q also makes a killer cassoulet with house made duck confit, lamb and andouille sausage for $15.50 or a huge plate of mac and cheese for $8.00 Q is the kind of local restaurant this city needs more of, a place where you can get a quality meal at a reasonable price for almost any occasion. Q is not the place you go to blow your mind with cutting edge trends but the place that treats you with respect and simple class that is sadly lacking in today's society. If it sounds like I'm gushing it's because we love this place, it's not perfect, but it's right, nice, and really good.

One of the best burgers I have ever had and I am a burger connisseur of sorts. Its pretty much a straight forward burger with gourmet ingredients. Their pickles are lightly pickled, more to the cucumber side than your traditional pickle and ever so slightly sweet. The Talera bun is nicely toasted and a good choice for a burger. The fries are good. All in all I put it in my top five burgers all time

I wish there were more places like Q in SF. Very unpretntious, good quality ingredients, something for everyone, we loved it. We met friends from out of town and had a great time, everyone was satisfied, from our friends teenage vegan daughter to my steak special with blue cheese-cabernet sauce. We had a party of six that had beer, bottles of wine, and bottomless diet coke (where do teenagers put it all?) our waiter was informed and efficiant. The place is just easy (once you get a parking place).

I absolutely love the food here!! Very different. They also have a very extensive list of wines. The atmosphere is very comfortable as well and the prices quite reasonable. I'll be back!

I think the atmosphere is really cool and laid back - I like the decorations - but I've been there twice and didnt really like the food either time. There were wierd mixes of flavors - which I am very open to, but didnt enjoy here. The wine and beer selection is good, but food -meh....
