I always come here with family. The Mongolian Beef is my favorite. The noodles are also very good. Service can be friendly or distant depending on the waiter. One funny note is that the locals seem to be seated at the right side of the restaurant and tourist types on the left!

We had read a lot about this being the best place in Chinatown to eat. Well, I disagree. It was mediocre in my opinion. Lemon chicken was so so. It wasn't bad, mind you, just nothing special.

This place is EXCELLENT. I arrived after a very long flight and hectic day: it was a soothing,, peaceful upstalirs room.with modern Asian decor and artwork, We ordered vegetable rolls and simple chicken stir-fries with different vegetables( 2 different entrees)..It was first-rate : tender, succulent chicken, the freshest ,,crisp vegetables, and crispy , thin skinned rolls,I For two entrees, two orders of vegetable egg rolls, and two dishes of rice( they DO charge for rice) , it cost about $40.

R&G was highly recommended by concierge as most authentic. I knew I hit a home run when I was the only anglo dude there. Ordered house specialty of deep fried dungeness crab...looked cool on the menu. Well, it was a deep fried dungeness crab. I couldnt quite get a handle on why you would batter the exteriour shell of a crab to eat it (?) but it was good. Also went back and had fried scallops. Very nice and simple. Beware if ordering hot & sour soup, it was a bowl big enuf for the 49rs !! Low on decor, VERY fast paced and noisy. Minimal english spoken, which is okay. Go for it...
