Nice place but poor food
I have to say I was very disappointed with The Salt House. Overpriced food and not very good. I had a salmon dish with sweet lentils. The combo was weird and not good. The salmon was very fishy tasting. The chicken dish tasted like it was previously cooked , rubbery and was way too salty. There are many other restaurants in SF that are low to midrange in price and have way better tasting food. Sometimes fancy or high end does not mean good. Service was good. Waiters were attentive.
