Wonderful food. Great job with tofu.

I'm so glad I tried this place. Every dish we had tonight was superb... fresh, flavorful and fast! I highly recommend. Loved the Buddhist altar with photos of the Karmapa, etc. Wonderful service with kind people. The atmosphere is homey and cozy. Really can't say enough good things about them. Wish I had discovered them sooner. Fyi... I saw a kosher certificate for those concerned... sorry I don't remember the name of who certified it, but I'm sure you could call to find out if you'd like to know.

a true gem of SF dining

Exciting & innovative veggie menu with SECTION OF BENEFICIAL HERBAL entrees & soups. I often order Eucanamia (sp.) Park which is about as delicious as one could want with false meat, red peppers, broccoli, mushrooms and more......YUM

    One of the best ever

Outstanding flavor; it is even more special when the satisfaction is a blend of intesresting cooking method and use of vegetables. The vegi stock provides the backbone to a very satisfying meal.

    Great, fresh, vegetarian food

Wonderful experience. The restaurant from the outside looks like nothing special, but wait till you see the menu. The vegetarian shrimp was a novelty to us and crispy chicken was wonderful, as well as the tea and starter. Besides, the prices are more than reasonable, and the service is very puncutal.

Get the Pie Pa Tofu Balls with broccoli

Great food, great price. On Wednesdays they are sometimes closed, so call ahead before you go.

    Can't beat it!

Great little spot. Wonton & spring rolls excellent. Sweet & sour walnuts are served in a halfed pineapple! Beautiful. The tofu balls with brocolli sound strange but are the BEST! Try it - you'll like it but avoid the bathroom if possible - or bring your own hygienic bathroom needs. Service is slow but they are nice.
