Siam Lotus focuses on the pairings of seafood, such as salmon and shrimp, meats, such as lamb, duck, and chicken, with tropical fruits and more—pineapple, peaches, tomato, squash, and potatoes. Two of us had "Scarlet Roast Duck", duck in red coconut curry with tomatoes, pineapple, peas, bell pepper and fresh basil, easily one of the best Thai dishes I have ever eaten. We also had "Jalapeno Chicken", delicately-thin sliced chicken with onion, green onion, bell pepper, and a seemingly subtle garlic/jalapeno sauce that sneaks up on you. Tables are limited, and the place started hopping around the usual 7pm (we got there ahead of the crows). The wait staff was incredibly attentive and sweet. The thumping music was the only detraction from an otherwise perfect dining experience.
