In a city with restaurants geared toward selling tourist sub-par, overprice food this place is the holy land! It looks as if scenes from the GODFATHER could have been filmed here! Simply the best!

We were seated in the very front of the restaurant, adorable table, we called it the "lady and the tramp" table. The food and service was fantastic, the waitress was a doll. I will be back at Christmas time, I just hope we get the same table, delightful!

Great food. Arrived early so sat and enjoyed a bottle of wine before dinner. Staff was very accomodating. Good service and food. Can't wait to return the next time we are in SF.

This is the restaurant I bring my family and friends to for good Italian food and to have a neighborhood experience . Also , I feel comfortable bringing my kids in for dinner , they have high chairs . I just wish they took reservation but I guess it's only fair that everyone gets to try Sodini's .

Blew away our expectations. Romantic in the neighborhood way. Excellent bread, salad, pizza and veal. Bar tender anna is worth the wait just to listen to her. Locals, no reservations and packed on a tuesday! Just wish we would have found it sooner in our trip. Go for it! You'll be glad you did

Sodini's is amazing, Great food and unbeatable prices. If you are eating on Columbus Avenue you are paying huge money for blah food and very little of it. I don't know anyone who can finish all their pasta here at Sodini's, and leftovers are great. My favorite "Veal." No one in the Bay Area can beat Sodini's Calamari & dipping sauces (nobody because we have checked). The waitresses are excellent, the bartender is amazing, the food is fantastic and the whole experience keeps you going back for more, more, more. Stay away from North Beach on Columbus Day & the Italian Street Party.

Ate here twice. Had fetucinni alfredo, spaghetti & meatballs ... Thought the pasta was too al dente, and over priced for it's lack of flavor. But Mrs. Doubtfire lived in the aptartment above it. The mafioso appearance of one of the friendly owners gave it some charm.
