wonderful experience!
Incredible little gem in the heart of North Beach. Excellent pasta - I had the North Beach special with a side of their delicious tennis ball sized meat balls, my colleague had the ravioli with tomato and meat sauce, and my girlfriend had this wonderful dish that was very tasty...too bad I don't remember the name of it! Started with a "c" if that's any help...We got in maybe a little after 8 p.m., bartender said it would be about 20 minutes for a table, but, we were actually seated in less than 10 minutes. Very accomodating and friendly wait staff made that gem glow even more...

Disappointing
Not one of our better North Beach experiences. While the service was prompt, the food was just palatable, and none too hot. We had two homeless folks wander in and intrude on our table (and we had to call the staff to have them removed), and were crowded by other patrons who were waiting for tables. When we told the waitress after the meal that we would not recommend that they seat customers at our location, she blew us off saying, "it's North Beach on Columbus Day. Good Luck." In hindsight I tipped her too much. With so many other Italian venues in the area, pass on this one. Better luck to you.

Flavorful food in a casual atmosphere
We always have a good experience at Sodini's, but we recently went with my 92 year old Italian grandmother, and even she enjoyed it. The host (who appeared to be the manager) and one of the regulars at the bar even helped me with the wheelchair and escorted my grandmother to a table by the window. The house salad had a lot of different veg and beans and things and was tossed with bleu cheese in a tasty house dressing. My cheese ravioli in cream sauce was amazing, and the special was a great value, and the salmon cooked just right (says nonna). We'll definitely be back.

A Pleasant Surprise in North Beach
This small and buzy restaurant fills up fast but is worth the wait. The Italian salad is delicious and the creamy pesto the best I have had in many years. We will definitely go back soon again.

Great food. Good service. Great place
Good old school Itlalian joint in North Beach. Stay away from Columbus and give this place a shot for a festive environment, a bit more of a local scene, and better food...
