Authentic and Fresh
You may notice mixed reviews on this restaurant. How can one explain the disparity? Ryo, the owner, will treat you according to how well he likes you and how well you appreciate what he can do for you. Show some respect. Good dining is a two-way street here. The food will amaze you if he knows you appreciate it and can tell the difference. He can amaze you at any price, too. If you are on a budget order from the menu of rolls and sushi and you'll pay $10 a person. If you are not on a budget, say "omakase" (chef's choice) and let him bring you best of what he has to offer until you are full. (This may cost you $40 - 60 a person based on my experience, but I'm a big eater.) You'll never go anywhere else again. Nothing compares.
