A Must Stop While Visiting San Francisco
We had Tadich Grill recommended to us from a friend while we were on a vacation to S.F. Hands down, that was the best place we have ever been. It was a light hearted, buzzing and the quinessential old school restaurant. We ordered a bottle of the Chardonnay-more on the buttery side- it was the best wine I have ever had. I want to order some from a supplier. You wont be disappointed making this your go-to stop while in San Francisco. Absolutley wonderful.

Disappointed
I frequented Tadich years ago, and looked forward to dining there again. Alas, today I was disappointed. I make better sole at home,. Very dry, and what passes for tartar sauce, I would not serve. My dinner date enjoyed her meal, I did not mine.

Just one pescavore's oponion
Three of us got there around 615pm and got a booth right away. Oysters rockefeller verry good. Tomato quartet salad delightful with lots of crab and shrimp. Cioppono unBELIEVEable, very flavorful base and a ton of seafood. A real highlight.

seafood heaven
Locals that we met at the ball park recommended this place. If you like Shaws crab house in Chicago and Docks in Atlantic city, you will love this place. Crowded, noisy, vintage, great service, delicious food. We had oysters Rockefeller, salmon, scallops, filet as entrees. All were wonderful, as were the sides they were served with. Great sf experience and cable car stop is right outside.

The seafood stop in SF
Had only 2 days in SF and wanted Italian and seaffod as our dinners. This was a perfect match for us, friendly and joking service, tried to match what we wanted and great food and history. We had the seafood platter app and it had some of the best ever and plenty of variety. It was so much we could only order one dinner to share and no room for dessert. The halibut was great, but the platter really was way above any I've had. I really liked the waiter being a little bit of a wise ass. casual atmosphere fit our mood after a wonderful, but, fancy, Italian dinner the night before

West Coast best
We're Bostonians and know seafood! Tadich is as good as The Union Oyster House or Legal Seafood. The sauted' Calamari Steak is best I've had anywhere.
