I have been there twice-first and last
We came for the lobster thermidor. We came from LOS ANGELES on holiday and we were told the thermidor was the best. WRONG. It looked beautiful. But looks are deceiving as it was tough as rubbery as can be. I had better thermidor in jail. The waiter exchaeged it for sautee shrimp that was o.k. The clam chowder was delicious but not worth the trip. Parking was the worse, It was expensive too. But would have gladly paid if the thermidor was good. Oh well. CARRY ON.

The Best!
I love this place and would take any client to have a meal here! it sells the city and has so much charm. It needs no VIEWS the history alone and the food + sevice is always top notch. I am in the hotel business and give this highest ratings! lOOK FOR THE sf TWINS if they are still alive they dine there often. HISTORY!

Tadich Grill - not as hot as I expected
This is a steak-and-seafood kind of place. Food is not cheap, portions are large and the staff are friendly. My main complaint is that the food was kind of dull. The ambiance was very lively and loud - which is OK if that is what you like. I would probably not go back here again.

Great Food
Love....Love...Love this place. I can not say enough how much I love this place. The food is excellent and the bread pudding is to die for... But Please do not tell too many people, because it already hard to get in there.

Home Away From Home ...
This is my absolute favorite place in the world. I've been going there since before I lived in The City, and will go as long as it is in business. The food is incredible, the service wonderful with one notable exception in 1992, but he's gone, and I just love the feel of it. There is no place in the world like Tadich Grill. And I agree don't tell too many people.

Oldest restaurant in San Francisco
They claim to be the oldest restaurant in San Francisco. The place is legendary. You won't find better seafood anywhere. Every time I've been, it's crowded! Great food, professional service, major ambience and history ... it's a unique dining experience.
