I've had better at their prices
If your looking for a romantic dinner place & you have the bucks to spend on not so big portions....then this is the place for you. If you're looking for great filling meal at a great price...I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm an average eater & I was looking for a restaurant with great food at good price. I ordered their raviolis & the serving was not that big & I had to eat the complimentary sour dough bread to get full. The raviolis were okay nothing extraordinary for such a high price of $16. I could've gone to The Elephant Bar & gotten something similar with bigger serving & a side of salad/or veggies for the same price or less and better tasting.

Best restaurant at Fisherman's Wharf
I was a local in the SF area for 8 years. Tarantino's doesn't seem to advertise very much to the tourist trade, which is a good thing. It's the only Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant I truly enjoyed. The good is great, prices are reasonable, views are superb. About the only flaw is they recently started serving fancy expensive bottled teas instead of normal tea that normal people drink. Except for that one proviso, it's still a great restaurant in a major tourist area but catering mostly to locals.
