    Warm, friendly neighborhood spot

I'm surprised by the lukewarm reviews here. I have been coming here for several years and love this place. The servers are consistently friendly and professional. The food is a few steps above traditional pub fare I often order the lamb chops, pulled pork sandwich or the fish. It's a great place to have a drink without a bar scene. The only thing that keeps me from being a regular is the difficulty parking on Polk St.

    Poor service

I took a bunch of out of town guests here for brunch and was very disappointed by the service. Our server was nothing but rude until she brought the check out when she suddenly turned nice. And the food was nothing to write home about.

    Good American Food

I have been here a few times and I really like the variety on the menu. For lunch the sanwiches are good, but the fajitas and salads are killer! An average pricerange, and big portions for sure. The dinner menu has a range from southern catfish to pork tenderloin, and the specials are always a nice treat. The atmosphere is pubish during the day, the bar has two tv's, but it is bright and there is outside seating. Weekend nights get pretty busy, the place has good energy but is not a quiet dinner spot, except maybe on a tuesday.

Food isn't great, even for pub style

I went with my wife and kid. We both wanted a good burger and thoght that this might be a place to get such a thing. They seemed to add some sort of spice/herb mix to it and overcooked it. Decent meet doesn't need anything but a little salt and pepper. Definately dissappointed. The fries were good though. They seem to do a pretty good business otherwise so there may be some other bright spots on the menu.
