Good neighborhood place
Good food. Nice people. Typical neighborhood restuarant. No pretensions. I loved it!

The poorest dining experience
Arrived as we had reserved 2 hours before the opera, at 5PM (early opera) and nearly the first patrons in the restaurant. Waited 45 minutes for our appetizer, fried brie and fried "buffalo" mozarella which looked like frozen fish sticks with dull taste. Waited another 45 minutes for our entrees which were extremely overcooked shrimp and also overcooked TINY scallops, cooked to the consistency of rubber. Wait staff totally ignored our table and we had to get up and physically demand service twice!! When the waiter asked how or food was and we told him of the poorly prepared food, all he could say was "I don't cook it, I just serve it, which he repeated twice. Food was so slow in coming that we had to almost run to get to the performance on time. I have eaten much better and had better service at a coffee shop at 1/10 the price. Don't waste your time here!!

Wonderful
We have being going to the Blue Muse for years and enjoy each visit as if it were our first. We never wait for our table, the food is always good and the wait-staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is the best restaurant value in this SF neighborhood.
