    Unique and delicious!

Very nice restaurant with a lot of different menu choice and great wine pairings. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a group of close friends.

this place is the real deal

Went with a bunch of co-workers after a trip to the wine country . It was my second time at the restaurant, but the first since they moved a few years ago. It was amazing how the place operates like a well-oiled machine. The food was good, as were the cocktails. There was absolutely nothing to complain about at all. It was a great experience for me coming from NYC and seeing how a well-run, large, busy restaurant can operate in a (supposedly) laid back town.

    Superb new Vietnemese

On each visit to San Francisco, I never miss a meal at The Slanted Door. This is great and creative food. Don't miss the Dungeness Crab with silver noodles if it's on the menu. Ditto the shaking beef.

    Must go to!

Make sure to have reservations for this restaraunt while in San Francisco!! It is not expensive and it is by far one of the best experiences I have had. The pork chops are to die for! I'm not a big pork chop fan, but since my husband wanted them, I tried them and they were probably the best food I ever eaten! The lettuce wraps are very different and very tasty too!
