This is not your typical Korean bbq joint. With a plethora of unique dishes, such as braised oxtail, fish head stew, raw beef salad, and the pork belly salad with vegetables grow right in the back yard of the restaurant, the flavor profiles and explosive tastes will leave a positive and lasting impression! The restaurant is family-owned and operated and are always helpful navigating the extensive menu, with recommendations and suggestions on the levels of spiciness (whatch out - Mom is the chef and she likes things REALLY spicy, so be judicious when asking heat). While the dining room looks a little plainer than some, the restaurant's warm and charming staff more than make up for the simple decor. Mom also brews a homemade plum-infused soju that is simply out of this world, and they also have a variety of unflavored sojus and Korean beers. If you're ever thought Korean was all the same, I highly recommend you RUN to To Hyang to experience amazingly delicious Korean food unlike anything you've had before.
