I have often eaten at the location on Church Street and was hoping that the "family" atmosphere was also on 24th St. Alas - not at this time... staff seemed to be more interested with themselves rather than their customers. The food was just average - had to ask for water three times (ouch) I will give it another try - hoping that the youth factor of the staff will have matured.

This is a cute little place. I like it because it wasn't too overcrowded and you were comfortable. That was until a family of four with a stroller came in and had the entire restaurant to sit and sat right next to us. No consideration. The kid kept getting up and wondering around. People were trying to eat and she's annoying them. Food was decent and service was satisfactory.

Went there the other day and let me say it was well worth the wait. The hash brown hill and home made soups were delish! Definitely coming back!

I am a native of Noe Valley and breakfast is big on a nice Sunday morning. Tried Toast with the parents for breakfast and we all thought the food was very moderate. We all had a type of egg dish with the typical sides. Bacon didn't have much flavor, nor did the corned beef hash or the potatoes. Maybe lunch is better? As far as breakfast goes I don't plan on going back.
