Delicious but Expensive Dim Sum Place
Definitely the BEST dim sum treat in town! The lines are long here on weekend mornings. Food is high quality and tasty, however, the prices are EXPENSIVE! You do get what you pay for though! Ton Kiang recently has a newer, more detail (perhaps for tourists and non-Asian folks), and pricier menu (they gotta make money, don't they?) and so it is more corporate looking and not a place run by ma-and-pa. A terrific place to treat friends and families on special occasions, but it is definitely not for the budget-conscious diner. The atmosphere is busy and a bit noisy. Staff members are efficient and polite. Hosts are always on the move, looking for the next available tables because they like to rush people in and out when there are long lines of patrons waiting to be seated. Enjoy your delectable dim sum experience but there will be a hole in your wallet.
