Truly the Best!
I have been all over the world, including the middle east and have eaten in the best of restaurants. The Truly Mediterranean menus have taken first place in all my eating experiences. These recipes are out of this world! I return regularly when Im anywhere near one of the restaurants. Unfortunately there are only two locations. The shop that started it all in San Francisco in the Mission District and now a new location in Seattle Wa. I cant wait to try Seattle and visit again with Wael, the owner.

Do yourself a flavor
When I'm in the Mission, I usually don't consider eating anything but really good taqueria food. Truly Mediterranean is my one exception. It's a small place with only a couple of barstools, where you can sit staring at yourself in a mirror as you engulf your tasty treat. If you want a better atmosphere, take your food to go. The big falafel sandwich looks like a burrito (it is the Mission after all), but don't call it one or you'll insult the restaurant's namesake. It is filling, very flavorfull, and an excellent value. Do yourself a flavor, and try it out.
