Authentic, contemporary, innovative
Valentina Ristorante is a blessing to the Bernal Heights neighborhood. The authenticity of the northern Italian cuisine, plus the authenticity of the environment, makes you happy to be in SF! The house made gnocchi is perfection, but also there are so many imaginitive dishes on the menu that can only be California-inspired. The Valentina Special pizza has grapes on it - surprise, it's awesome! The bruschetta tapenades change w/ the season, as do the organic veggies in all the dishes.

Great Little Place
We live about 0.5 miles away from Valentina's and love it. We're vegetarian so we can't comment on everything, but all in all it's a great, authentic, place.

Noisy Italian
I wasn't impressed. Packing 50 people in a 10x10 room is not only uncomfortable, but loud. Standard Home Style Italian style. Nothing compelling for me to go back! Locals like it though!
