It is true: once, a Zante pizza arrived in 45 minutes. We laughed and cheered! We talked about it for days! The only time I was really, really irked, the pizza took ONE HOUR and 45 minutes. I'd say an hour and 15 minutes is average. But it's so good. So good. I've never had anything but take out, I can't tell you about anything but the pizza.

Are you dining with indecisive friends? Is there a war brewing between the Indian food crew and the pizza fans? Zante's can play peacemaker. The Indian pizza is AMAZING! Tandoori meats of many kinds, a spicy curry tomato sauce, and light on the cheese. The crust itself is almost like naan, not what you'd get with an average pizza. My criticisms are of the price (both the pizza and the regular menu items are much more expensive than other, comparable restaurants in town), and the service is soooooo slooooow. I've ordered delivery many times and I've had to call after an hour, and then after an hour and a half, to see if my food was indeed coming. Why do I put up with these outrages? Because it's Zante's, and you will understand once you eat there.

Zante's is famous for their Indian pizza. The veggie kind has curry sauce, cauliflower, garlic, onions, cilantro, and cheese. It's fantastic. Zante's should build an Indian pizza empire that spreads across the country.
