Great restaurant...Delicious new brunch menu!
Ziryab has been one of my favorite dinner spots for years. I was ecstatic to find out that they recently began opening for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week!! The breakfast and lunch menu is fantastic. Delicious breakfast creations. They also have a fantastic happy hour menu with cheap snacks and drinks. And as always, there is hookah. Definitely try this place for breakfast!

i like the heat lamps
outdoor seating in the front with heatlamps is a huge plus for me, especially since you can smoke the hookah outside on a chilly SF night. the food is uninspired though. huge HUGE shawarmas but slathered in hummus and oil. it's a bit too heavy for my taste. i've been here twice and each time felt like i had to be rolled home. do not get the shrimp appetizer as it comes with like 2 shrimp and costs $13 - outragious. instead, try the lamb and veal shawarma. its cheap, it's good, it's absolutely immoral and not peta friendly, but probably the best thing i've had on the menu.

Great outdoor patio, yummy Mediterranean
I live in the neighborhood and frequent this great new Mediterranean restaurant. On a sunny day, the front patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a beer and hookah. I especially like the maza platter and the tagines - seafood, chicken, vegetable or lamb. The service is friendly and attentive and the owners will go out of there way to make you feel at home here.
